Make plans now for two days of fun, food and literary arts in the Literary Capital of Alabama. We’re welcoming friends, old and new, to explore the writing, music and art of the literary South. The festival is now a project of Monroe County Museum, and most events will take place in the historic courtroom made famous by To Kill a Mockingbird. Monroeville native and Pulitzer Prize-winner Cynthia Tucker is this year’s Harper Lee Award recipient, and Rheta Grimsley Johnson receives the Truman Capote Prize. You’ll enjoy captivating readings, enlightening discussions, amusing conversations and Monroeville’s famous brand of hospitality. Join us!
