Old Courthouse Museum
Have your event or wedding in one of America’s most treasured landmarks. The Old Monroe County Courthouse courtroom, the setting of the courtroom scenes in To Kill a Mockingbird, makes a perfect setting for meetings or weddings. The courthouse and grounds are available.

Old Bethany Baptist Church at Burnt Corn, Alabama

Bethany Baptist Church was built in 1874 and sits along the Old Federal Road in one of Monroe County’s most picturesque and historic communities — Burnt Corn. Burnt Corn is one of the oldest settlements in Monroe County, and Bethany Baptist has been a part of the community since 1821. The church is open on special occasions only and is available for weddings and family reunions.
